The Legends

The Legends is within minutes of many grocery stores, Community hospital, St. Mary's hospital, Grand Junction Regional airport, Mesa State college, Walmart, down town shopping areas, restaurants and easy access to I-70.



In the Legends you can choose from one of the eight different floor plans we have to offer, bring your own floor plan, or simply make your own customizations to one of ours to meet your needs and wants. We allow you to personalize your home to your taste. You get to make all of your new home color selections from the floor coverings, wall colors, cabinet finish, countertops, all the way up to the roof shingle color. We have an on site selection center with trained and professional staff that will walk you through each step of the selection process to ensure that you get everything you want in your new home.



Quality craftsmanship and energy efficiency is not only important for our environment but also to you as a new home owner and your pocket book. The Legends offers energy efficient homes that will save you thousands of dollars over the life of your home. Low E glass windows come standard in every Legend home, and we also take the time and care to seal, foam, and caulk around all home penetrations, baseboards, door jambs, and window areas of the framing. These areas are common locations of energy loss in most homes, but not in a Legend home. We also offer our new home buyers the option of blown in cellulose insulation at a very affordable cost. Not only will the Cellulose pay for itself with the money you save on your heating and cooling bill in just a few short years but it is also known to act as a sound barrier between rooms, it is also sprayed with a fire retardant chemical that bugs and insects seem not to like.

Every foundation that we install here at the Legends is an engineered stem wall designed to withstand the soil conditions prominent in most areas of the Grand Valley. The foundation walls are supported by caissons, which are bored a minimum of five feet below bedrock and are then filled with rebar and concrete. The foundation walls are built on top of these piers for superior strength, stability, and quality. We use a concrete sealer on the exterior foundation walls and also install a moisture barrier and control system in the crawl space of each home.



The Legends community is part of a Home Owners Association. Each home owner is given the option of being on the Maintenance Program or Non Maintenance.

Maintenance is $50.00 per month and covers: irrigation water, mowing and edging of front and rear yard weekly, aeration and fertilization two times a year, start up and shut down of sprinkler system in spring and fall, snow removal, and maintenance of the common area.

Non-Maintenance is $60.00 per quarter and covers: irrigation water, and maintenance of the common area.
